Pastor Michael S. Allen and his wife, Annemarie, have been married for 38 years. They met each other as friends in college and found a personal relationship with Jesus at that same time. They both found Christ through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, as Mike played college football at East Central Oklahoma University in Ada, OK. Since college, Mike has served on staff with Young Life, as a high school football coach in Kansas, assistant pastor and youth pastor at churches in Oklahoma, youth pastor at Grace Chapel in Lexington, MA. Mike also served as a speaker and worship leader at various camps and conferences, and now as a pastor on Cape Cod. Mike and Annemarie moved to the Cape December of 1997 to plant a new church. They have four adult children and five grandchildren. Mike has studied at Fuller Theological Seminary, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and received his Masters in Divinity at Seminary of the East. He was ordained in 1996. Mike earned his Doctorate (D.Min.) in preaching at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2017.
Pastor Mike sensed a strong desire to plant an energetic and authentic ministry on the Cape because of its growing population and his family connections here. He moved his family from Grace Chapel in Lexington to Sandwich. Since that time we've continued to strive to express God's love in real-life ways so that people can genuinely experience the unconditional love of God and the compelling good news of forgiveness and a brand new way of living life as God intended.
Mike and Annemarie desire to befriend folks and “love them into the Kingdom”. It is through relationship that Christ is best expressed. And we desire to help others become the kinds of friends to folks all across the Cape to know God’s love in real, practical ways. These experiences in ministry, coaching, and parenting bring a diversity of perspective and a strong desire to see Christ served in ALL of life!
