"Helping Light the Way!"

WELCOME!

We're so glad that you've stopped by to check us out. If you're new to Lighthouse, or are considering a visit on Sunday, we want you to feel warmly welcomed and at home. Lighthouse is a community of Christ-followers dedicated to sharing the loving message of the greatest One who ever lived - Jesus! Here's the deal: We're a contemporary evangelical fellowship dedicated to sharing and living out the timeless good news of new life in Christ. We desire to be people who live in authentic relationship with the Living God. We invite you to consider the promise that Jesus can help light your way in an often dark, combative, or confusing world.  As Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life" (John 8:12).

An All-Satisfying God!

It's not about us.

Wait, did you get that? Too often in too many places we are confronted with so many promises to give us comfort, convenience, and pleasure focused on ourselves. But the ultimate life can only be found when it is centered on the Ultimate Creator, who invented and delights in pleasure - and that greatest pleasure is found in the worship and love of God Himself. God's love, power, glory, and beauty are infinite, and He delights to share His all-consuming pleasure with us. Our greatest wonder and awe are found in God Himself, the author of pleasure.

"In your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore" (Psalm 16:11).

C.S. Lewis stated, "It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us..." (The Weight of Glory). It's All About God!
